Saw this truck parked at the blowhole in Keanae the other day. Gotta love that custom license plate. The sacks were filled with taro roots. For those who don't know, poi is the well-loved foodstuff that's made from the taro root. Taro grows in the paddies in Keanae and Wailua on Maui. Poi is a favorite food item for Hawaiians and you'll find it in the local grocery stores.
