Beautiful sights driving up Pulehuiki Road in Kula Maui Hawaii 96790 Bright flowers and country scenes appear around every bend as you climb this steep road in Kula. Persimmon orchards and small farms line both sides as you drive up Pulehuiki Road. Kula Maui has rich soil and low rainfall, with little wind on most days. Most homes take advantage of the bicoastal views afforded by the mountain terrain. The elevation is around 3,000 feet so the nights are cool, but the days are sunny and warm.
