The Maui News online reports that vodka enthusiasts will have a new product to look forward to. Maui Land and Pineapple's cannery in Kahului is now the testing ground and home for a new alcohol product made from sweet pineapples. Master distiller Mark Nigbur has created a unique vodka from pineapples and it's now being distributed to local restaurants and stores on Maui and Oahu.
Pau Maui is a genuine Maui product. Don't expect this handcrafted premium vodka to taste of pineapples though, as that's not the case. The sugars are all converted to alcohol leaving a clean crisp taste, not … (16 comments)
