Selling homes in your own neighborhoodAgents - do you like to sell homes and land in your own neighborhood? It makes it easy for travel and of course you know the area well. I think we all have an advantage when we sell properties closer to "home". We understand the weather and climate. We know some of the history of the area, like who the neighbors are and what's happening nearby.
This new listing in Haiku Maui is really close to where I live, and I walk by it when I do the neighborhood "loop" walk - a 2 mile country road … (14 comments)

Haiku Maui land sells - what's next? I'm happy to announce my beautiful vacant land listing at 320 Hanauana Rd sold to a nice Haiku couple who want to move to the country and build a home, or two. They paid $867,765 for 2.2 acres with power and fiber optics, and a nice ocean view.
This was a good match of buyers and seller, since they're going to be neighbors. It all came together quickly once everyone met and it was obvious they were on the same page. The seller graciously offered seller financing and it clicked.

I just wanted to share this video of the ocean view at 480 Puniawa Rd, Haiku Maui, on a nice balmy evening in April.
Video taken from the upper lanai overlooking the 26.7 acres of prime and private farm land. Did I mention that this property once belonged to Marlon Brando? Now it could be yours!

Random MAUI Scenes taken from the car while driving
Okay I admit it's a dramatic title, but this is just a quick post with some drive-by pictures of some Maui scenes. I always hate to take pics out the car window, but sometimes you get lucky and they're not too bad. That's a view of the ocean close to Mama's Fish House.
Makawao Town in upcountry Maui has some great old buildings. And of course, there's always those beautiful rainbows over the sugar cane fields while driving into Paia on the north shore.
