There's 2 parts to any address, let's not forget thatOK - here's a pet peeve of mine in the real estate business: All day long we get emails from other agents or title companies, advertising a listing or an open house. Too often they put just the street address and neglect to put the name of the town. HELLO, can you please let us know which town this is? Not everyone knows exactly where that street is, and I don't want to search through the whole email to know whether or not I'd consider going... There are TWO parts to every address. … (18 comments)

It's ALOHA FRIDAY once again, and many people on Maui will be diving into their weekend at the beach, for surfing, or windsurfing, maybe even some kiteboarding. It's been super hot, so this weekend the beaches will be packed. Just found out there's a high surf advisory for the south shores! While it's a temptation, I will most likely have to pass on this fun activity, since there's too much other stuff going on. We have some visitors arriving on Monday to our Haiku home, which means I need to get the guest cottage cleaned up and ready - not my favorite … (7 comments)

HALE KAMAOLE #150 - OPEN HOUSE Do you like to visit Open Houses when you travel? Have you ever found that perfect property by stumbling into an Open House? What is it about an Open House sign that's so hard to pass up? Here on Maui you'll see a lot of Open House signs on the south shore, because it's Hawaii and there are so many resort condos for sale.
