Two hurricanes have come and gone here on Maui and we have been very lucky to have no damages at our home. In each case they downgraded to a Tropical Storm, which is less severe than a hurricane but still comes with some extreme weather.

tips: Posting from an iPad might be challenging

Due to technical difficulties I find myself trying to post a blog from my iPad today. Please bear with me as this is an experiment. While I'd like to think it would be easy, there are some things that are not quite so simple. For instance, the voice to text capability leaves a lot to be desired. I think the iPhone works much better in this regard. I notice that the copy and paste function does not work correctly either. Thank goodness you can always just shake the device to undo your last mistake. Including a picture poses another problem, as I … (10 comments)
