Photos of the Auwahi Wind Farm in Ulupalakua Maui

I drove to Ulupalakua to take a look at the new wind turbines which went online here just a few months ago.  As I kept driving I thought I would never get there, but they soon popped up over the horizon.  Actually it's more like Kanaio, and way past the Ulupalakua Ranch Store, but it's all part of Ulupalakua Ranch.  Even though there aren't a lot of homes in this area, the power will supply energy to a lot of homes in nearby Kula.  The 21 megawatt project should provide … (9 comments)
