I love it when I do a talk on the benefits of the FHA 203k or the FannieMae HomeStyle Renovation loan program and they typically get notoriety at the same talk. The fun comes when a Realtor or two tells me that the home values are just way too high for those type loans to work and our clients typcally have the ability to purchase with all cash. south sf: The renovation scope of work was changed from the consultant's scope

What happens if the consultant visits the property and the entire scope of work isn't what was agreed to? What are the options? Yike's and Holy Crap as the father on "Everyone Likes Raymond" show used to say. The consultant works with the borrower to determine a "scope of work" and that "scope of work" is what the appraisal is based on therefore it MUST be completed.
