Are people crazy? The public and REALTORS/ agents have been in this thing called the real estate cycle. It started back in 2007, most of the public didn't listen to us then and ceretainly didn't listen last year, honestly! What do I mean!!! In a declining market (2007) a seller wouldn't sell the home for say $249,000 but six months later will sell for $189,000! In a appreciating market (2012) a buyer won't get off the fence and pay $199,000 but will get into a bidding war with 10 other buyers at $260,000! I'm watching a television show on the history channel "American Pickers" and these guys do we do, they prospect, they knock on doors that look promising to them and sometimes they are asked off the property! Over 25 years ago I spent a lot of time real estate farming, knocking on doors, passing out information and giving away magnets for memo pads. I think I stopped going door-to-door around 2005 to a geographic area known as a farm.
