The Huntersville High Schools will be going through some major changes for the 2010-2011 school year due to the opening of the new W.A. Hough High School in Cornelius, NC. Located just miles from North.
North Mecklenburg High Schoolwill be impacted dramtically more than Hopewell because of the new  boundary lines. CMS School Boundaries in the Lake Norman area of Charlotte have some people questioning the process.
In a recent article by The Charlotte Weekly there are some residents up in arms regarding the boundarie lines set up for the new Hough High School and North Mecklenburg High School.
