My Torreon friend, Lusha Karam, decided over a glass of wine one evening at sunset to write a cookbook. After alot of work, outstanding photos, and finding a publisher, it's in print and ready for the 2nd printing! Many of the photos are of Torreon and others from trips she and her husband, Chris have been on. She's very talented and I'm so happy she is my friend. The recipes are great and easy too. Let me know if you would like to purchase one. They make great closing gifts, Christmas gifts, Mother's Day gifts, etc.

torreon real estate: A Day Outside of Torreon

My boyfriend, Walt & I spent a great day celebrating his birthday on Sunday outside of Torreon up by Green's Peak. We took Forest Road 117A and a slow drive up the mountain. Couldn't have had better weather with a bit of Fall in the air. My old dog, Harley, loved the drive and getting out, rolling in the grass, and playing in the water at Canero Lake.
