Let me illustrate a typical agent-to-agent scenario in Miami- and maybe even in your own hometown if this sounds familiar. You are setting up appointments for a client who really loves 5 homes, especially two that are in a neighborhood she's been dying to see. Have you noticed lately that you are never telling your clients anything they don't know? Many consumers now either research everything online before they speak with you so they know what you should be doing for them; or they just think they know the answer to everything and therefore nothing you can say would make them believe otherwise. These pose many hurdles to overcome because for one thing, it definitely keeps realtors on their toes. It may seem a bit intimidating to be judged by others in any part of your life- be it professionally, personally or academically. But the truth is, you will be judged by everyone you meet. It is really up to you how you want them to see you. As if mortgage rates could go any lower, they have! They fell to new lows this past week, partly due to the Federal Reserves buying bonds to spur economic growth in the country. Sometimes I ask myself if this is a good thing. For a buyer, yes, it is a great thing because if they are able to obtain the financing and find a home that they love, they are good to go.
