Most full amenity buildings have monthly maintenance costs that vary between 50 to 70 cents per square foot of living space. Always be sure ask is what the monthly maintenance includes. Miami real estate as reported by the media is in trouble and only going to get much worse. The truth is that real estate is such a local business that each neighborhood can be different. For example, the Brickell area has many condos still coming online, whereas, Miami Beach does not have as many. There are areas in Miami that have been very hard hit because the condos or town homes built were like many others and had been purchased by first time home buyers who unfortunately bought them with adjustable rate mortgages- often two.
