safety: Serious about safety!

I live in Texas and have been practicing real estate for over seven years. I have admittedly put myself in some really stupid situations. Trying to learn from my mistakes, I try to check all bases to consider safety first. I let everyone know where I am at all times. I try to not work open houses alone. I do not take buyers out without doing a DNA test first (well maybe that is not exactly true). Point is- I am paranoid and rightly so.
