realtors: Realtors are good for the community -- here's proof!

The Summit Association of Realtors handed out donations to three local groups today. These donations were made possible by a Realtor Banquet/Fundraiser and from the interest earned when earnest money is donated into special accounts. The fundraiser donation of $8,000 went to Summit County schools to make more before and after school programs available to elementary and middle school children. Millie Hamner, the Superintendent of Shools pointed out that when kids are involved in planned activites, their involvement in "other" activities is reduced. Real estate and recreation opportunites in Silverthorne and all of Summit county. Ski areas nearby are Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, with Lake Dillon providing summer activities. Dillon and Frisco are both nearby with lots of special events.
