Well, the battle over the coveted Geist lakefront home’s tax dollars continues to unfold. Recently Geist residents opposed to the forced annexation of Fishers filed a petition to incorporate into two new towns, East and West Geist. They believe this will stop, inhibit, or at least slow down the process of annexation. This past week the town of Fishers as a Hamilton county judge whether County Commissioners can create the two new Geist towns.
