1jimbo1: Recruiting
- 04/30/10 10:37 AM
We just started RE/MAX Gold extreme. We interviewed one potential agent. She made appointments to interview with several other team leaders. She spent half a day with me as I showed homes to a client. I am happy to report that Silke Kirkwood canceled her appointments with the other team leaders, joined Extreme and hit the ground running. Using our proven strategy, Silke procured several leads, wrote a $500,000 offer and got it accepted. We are very proud of Silke. We know that Silke is one in a million, but does anyone have any good advice on how to find her twin sister? (0 comments)

1jimbo1: Guess what I did last night?
- 05/29/08 08:11 AM
Last night while my wife went with my oldest son to a Boy Scout meeting. My younger son and I stayed home. I spent the time up until midnight making 49 out of the soon to be 100 short videos about real estate. If anyone has any ideas on how I can make these better, feel free to let me know. Also, this one, somehow got 4000+ hits over night and the others received between 0 and 15. not sure why. Finally, I am runing out of ideas, i should have called it the "50 Most Important Real Estate Issues. " (1 comments)
You can build multi units on the land and the price is very low. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can market this unique piece of land?

1jimbo1: Happy May 1st.

Hopefully everyone is as busy as I have been recently. I wanted to post something here every week and have not done so. I have been busy selling houses to referrals! A few years ago a guy called after receiving one of my post cards. He wanted to sell his 4 plex. His first question was "What's the commission?" The first words out of my mouth were the standard, "Commissions are not fixed, they are totally negotiable. It all depends on the situation. What really matters is what you put in your pocket doesn't it?" He said, "What's the commission!?" I (1 comments)
1jimbo1: After Easter Blog!
- 03/24/08 04:57 PM
Are things really picking up? Am I crazy? I hope everyone had a great Easter and is ready to work hard as all the buyers flood our e-mail in-boxes and voice mails with requests to write up offers. For the first time in a LONGGGGG time, a client of mine asked me about a property and I had to say, "I just wrote an offer on that house for someone else!" Can you believe it? The next thing you know they'll be making new Rocky and Rambo movies! Oh yeah, they already are! JM (3 comments)
