If they say first impressions are everything, (which I agree with) how could an agent send a listing thru into the MLS as a "new" listing with poor photos? First off, it only stays on the hotsheet for 48 hours. Therefore you really have to take pride and get the best photos you can initially because that is when the house will be seen by that largest audience. If you aren't qualified to capture good angles/shots, then it's probably a good idea to hire a professional. Yesterday morning I received a referral announcement post that came in thru my email. Ever since jumping into the real estate racket, my father advised to get on any lead immediately and follow up ASAP to show professional accountability. It turns out that after speaking with the referred couple, our friends/family have crossed paths and we have common acquaintances. I believe the main reason we were able to gain the confidence of the referal agent was that I called first thing in the a.m. as I received the alert.
