What a great tool for inspecting a new home or doing an energy loss evaluation for your current home. 
This is probably one of the most awesome technologies I have seen in a while............not new to the industry but new to me. 
The way I understand it as this infrared camera can see behind walls..............
It can determine heat loss, water penetration, hot spots with electrical, and if not enough or not any at all -insulation.
There are a couple of local home inspectors in the Kent County area that have this very expensive tool.  (there may be more)

I was watching a demonstration on my new program for top producer web site and the instructor was explaining how people can pop on my website and check out the area info and see what has sold, what is listed ..................etc.
 
Finding this information is fun, great to see what you neighbor got for their home, how tings in your neighborhood look in general. However this is not the only info we need to make a buying decision, or a "good buying decision". We need more then general information.

Did you know there is help for home owners and landlords to repair your home from the city of Grand Rapids, if you live in the target area?  There is a low interest loan for repairs and paint (to get the lead out) from the city of Grand Rapids.  It is called City Housing Rehabilitation Program.
Some of the repairs that can be done are:

But do not wait too long!  MSHDA has started their campaign for the "Save the Dream" product.  This is a loan designed to help people who fit the guide lines (income) to re-fi their home.
