traverse city real estate: No Rain, but it's Raining Buyers!

On the last day of March 2010, I looked back and have noticed that it hasn't rained at all here in Traverse City this month. I haven't had a moment to notice this because we have been so busy with buyer leads that I have no time to watch my trusty friend The Weather Channel. In talking with other agents in other markets, I have heard that most other markets are not expereincing these same results. We have several amenities here in TC that other markets don't have and I have to believe that's what is bringing people to our market. … (0 comments)

Hello... In thinking of the Thanksgiving Holiday coming tomorrow, I thought of all the real estate agents who will be traveling and meeting with families all over the country. What better time to make sure that your family members that may be selling or buying a home in the next year contact a top-selling agent. I love referrals and send out many for folks moving from MI to warmer climates. So you watch the news?! If you do, you have been seeing the doom and gloom suggested by the media. It doesn't matter if its CNN, MSNBC, or FOX NEWS... all the same fear on each broadcast. I have found a break from the doom and gloom by paying more attention to my local news. The overall picture is that the sky is falling in MI real estate and now... the American auto industry is going to collapse?!
