Gardening is an enjoyable hobby. It can be a bit of work, but it is a great retreat away from the phone and computer, which I use for work regularly. Getting outside in the sun is also a real treat when you can dress for it! Sure I see some sun as I walk from my car to the the house, and out to the waterfront and then to check out the garage, drive to the next place and do it all over again!
