Do you understand that most purchases(from picking fruit in the produce department to your next home) involves an element of compromise. Agreed, the complexity of those decisions will vary greatly. BUT there will always be compromise involved.
In Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley with our very active real estate market and limited inventory, one of the many questions I ask of home buyers: what are you willing to give up in order to purchase your first(or next) home?
Real estate is comprised of negotiation and lot of compromise.
Whether the purchase is your first condo or the ultimate in estate living -- compromise always comes into play. So what are you willing to give up and what will you absolutely not? (25 comments)
Are you considering a home purchase? You will need to answer this question(in fact, there will be many) but there is one that is quite important. You probably have a checklist, maybe it’s in writing or just in your mind -- your must haves, like to haves and wishes for your new home. You may be comparing the features or location of your current home or maybe it’s your very first home. It doesn’t matter --- I know the buyers I have worked with over the years, have a checklist.
