And while I understand the significance of this day to many...and I mean no disrespect...my thoughts seem to have strayed a bit...and chocolate wasn’t involved. Really. Not at all.
I’m not sure when I first heard the above proverb or who shared it with me but it was a long time. I have heard and likely shared the quote countless times. But recently I was thinking a bit more about it...so I turn to some quotes and thoughts of others for additional insight.

Excuse me but here are some random(okay, very random) musings on a Saturday evening:
Today is Super Saturday -- you know, the day retailers await as the anticipated largest sales volume day of the season and hopefully of the year. Will it or won’t it happen? Did you participate? Did you shop ‘til you dropped. I didn’t but I smiled as I avoided stores and the crowds today.
I did help pump some revenue into the economy late this afternoon with a fill-up of gas. While (39 comments)
