canton tx: $8000 tax credit. You must close soon - 06/19/09 03:00 AM
The Federal Government has Set forth a $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers. This is a tax credit not just an adjustment to you income. If you have a tax return where you owe money for 2009, that amount will be deducted from the $8000 tax credit. The thing most lenders and REALTORS® are not telling buyers is that the $8000 credit is the maximum credit. The credit is equal to 10% of the homes purchase price up to a maximum of $8000.
