Building Green in New York state is getting Easier- New York State Senate passes bill to encourge more Green Building
On May 20th, 2013, New York State Senate passed legislation to encourage the building of more “green” homes by creating a property tax exemption. The bill promotes evironmentally friendly housing by allowing local municipalities to the opportuunities to offer real property tax exemption of 35 percent for a maximum of 20 years.
