On Sunday April 7th, 2019
NYC Department Of Sanitation will sponsor its annual Safe Disposal event in Prospect Park
10am - 4pm (Rain or Shine)
Location: Prospect Park - Park Circle- Corner of Parkside and Prospect Park SW
 
 Cars enter along Parkside Ave from Ocean & Lincoln Rd
 
 
* No Appliances- Tires- Refrigerators or air conditoners
 
  
If you are unable to attend this Safe Disposal Event - Go NYC.Gov Safedisposal for additional recycling events
 
Schedule a curbside electronic pickup

Composting adds nutrients to restores soils  and promote plant growth - by composting organic materials such as yard materials and food scraps we can reduce the amount of waste that ends up in our landfills.
Currently the NYC Dept of Sanitation has a pilot program in Redhook, Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights, Winsor Terrace, South Slope, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Gowanus Brooklyn .  Homes in those areas received brown compost bins that will be set out on the street for curbside pickup on collection … (0 comments)
