The U.S. Department Of Energy Weatherization Assistance Grant Program (WAP) helps low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient . The DOE funds local community agencies, nonprofits and local governments in every state to provide weatherization services. Conserving energy helps to reduce dependence on foreign oil and reduces the cost of energy for families.
