One of my recent clients's decided he needed to move out of the city.  He had reached the end with his cramped condo, the constant noise and crowds associated with city living.  He wanted me to find him a detached house in Germantown, MD.
 I am licensed in DC, MD and Virginia.  I sell homes in Montgomery County, MD all the time. Almost every morning I walk my two beautiful black Labs in Rock Creek Park.  I go to the section of the park across from St. John's College H.S., off Military Road, in Chevy Chase, DC.  Each time I step into the woods, the same thought always runs thorugh my mind.  "What beauty!"  I can not believe I live in the city and can step into the country and nature within minutes of my home.

neighborhoods: What I Recently Learned From a 4 and 8 Year Old - 01/21/09 09:13 AM
2 young children, in my neighborhood (a 4 and 8 year old with the help of their father) were participating in community service by collecting nonperishable food for the Capitol Area Food Bank.  I thought, what a great idea, collecting food...The 4 and 8 year old explained that after the holidays, food donations go down.  More people and families have been relying on the local food banks for daily food for their tables.  As a result, th shelves of local food banks have been running very low.
