Curiosity killed the cat, but the dog is safe! The Francis Family enjoyed a fabulous vacation on Manasota Key, FL (Just south of Sarasota/Venice) on the west coast of Florida. It was incredible in the enjoyment we all took out of the amazing peaceful surroundings. The kids absolutely loved it, the beach, fishing, boating, and surfing. But no one had a better time than our 2 1/2 year old Shih Zsu, Ginger. I wish she could talk so we could find out what she was thinking! Ginger just loved the beach! Here she is the first day!

A new experience, a closing on my birthday for a Turkey Girl! It was Thanksgiving Day when I was born on November 26th. My mother was thrilled as that got her me and a new toaster oven as a gift since she delivered a baby Thanksgiving Day. Now, the day varies every year, but seems to fall very close to my birthday, if not on the day. Jim writes about the DC commute here. However, Atlanta like all major cities has some serious driving challenges. One of my first questions to buyers is to check where they need to go during the day- office, airport, schools, as well as any family members or hospital needs. Having that information, we are then much better prepared to find them a sensible commute option. One of my favorite calls after selling buyers a home was a "Thank you for my 10 minute commute" phone call.
