pasadena home staging company: Los Angeles Home Staging|Why Should I Hire Moving Mountains Design? - 10/10/12 02:57 AM
What sets Moving Mountains Design apart from other Los Angeles home staging companies? It's very simple. We know what makes homes sell™! How do I know this? Time and again, the homes we stage sell in the first couple of weeks on the market, often with multiple offers, and often at or over the asking price.
Case in point: Last month we staged this Arcadia home. It had been on the market for 6 months with no offers. We staged it and gave the listing agent big, beautiful professional quality photos to use in marketing the home. 2 weeks later, the … (16 comments)

pasadena home staging company: Pasadena Home Staging A Pasadena Pool Home - Sneak Peek - 06/04/10 05:26 PM
Tuesday we staged a beautiful Pasadena home in the Michillinda Park area after being called in for a home staging consultation the previous week. Though occupied, there was very little furniture in the living room and the dining table in the formal dining room was very casual. We completely refurnished the living room and dining room and accessorized the 3 bedrooms, kitchen, family room and 3 bathrooms. In addition we staged the guest house.

pasadena home staging company: Even Small, Inexpensive Homes Require Home Staging - Pasadena Home Staging Info - 04/18/10 01:10 AM
A few weeks ago, my Pasadena home staging company, Moving Mountains Design, I was hired to provide home staging services for a very small (600 sq. ft.!!) 1 bedroom, 1 bath Pasadena condo. I was hired by a real estate investment company that does condo conversions and also purchases foreclosure properties including new construction condo projects that have gone belly up. Every unit in this project has sold except for this one. The unit is very affordably priced at $225,000, which is cheap by Los Angeles real estate standards. The real estate investment company is hoping that once staged, this unit … (11 comments)

pasadena home staging company: Pasadena Home Stager Is Featured In Article "Sold On Staging" - 03/27/10 02:37 PM
A few weeks ago I was interviewed by a reporter for the Pasadena Star News for an article about home staging. They sent out a photographer when we were staging this Altadena home. Originally the article was supposed to be published on March 13th, but they held it for 2 weeks so it could be published in all of the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper Group's sister publications, I think 7 in all.

I think the article gives a very well balanced look at how much home staging costs (in the Los Angeles-Pasadena real estate market) and what to expect from … (26 comments)

pasadena home staging company: Staging Takes A Contemporary Pasadena Home From Last Century to Now! - 02/01/09 04:37 AM
Staging to sell by Moving Mountains Design took this modern Pasadena Architect designed home from last centruy to NOW!     Living room before home staging                           Living room after stagingLast November, a Pasadena Realtor I frequently work with, Judy Rubin, asked me to consult with a client to prepare their contemporary home for sale. This is one of the most unique and interesting Pasadena homes I had ever been asked to stage. Designed in the 1970's by the Architect residents, the house has a very open floor plan with many … (46 comments)

pasadena home staging company: Selling Apples? Talk to the oranges: Finding networks, clients and customers in unlikely places - 01/06/09 04:30 AM
I'm reblogging this post, not only for the obvious reason that Julie featured me in the post, but also because it is a powerful demonstration of the value of going outside your comfort zone to find new clients and an audience. I first met Julie on Twitter (@WritingRoads) and I'm so glad we hooked up.

I just published this post on my blog and wanted to share it with you: 1) to say thank you for the incredible support and conversation I've experienced here, and 2) because I think this is an experience that we can all benefit from … (23 comments)

pasadena home staging company: Home Staging in Encino CA - What $4.5 Million Looks Like - 08/02/08 05:31 PM
$4.5 million home staged in Encino CA by Moving Mountains Design Home Staging.
This week Moving Mountains Design Home Staging had the absolute pleasure of staging a luxury estate in Encino, CA. This new construction Mediterranean home located "South of the Boulevard" (code word for "the right side of the tracks") was built with the finest quality hand hewed black walnut hardwood floors, granite, marble and imported tile. I love working with this builder because they spare no expense in building their homes and they are beautiful. Here is a link to a Sherman Oaks home we staged for this builder, … (37 comments)
