I am a fan of The Profit television show with Marcus Lemonis on CNBC. Marcus helps struggling businesses find where their weaknesses are and fix the problems. He sits down and writes a check for an agreed upon amount for a certain percentage of the company. His infusion of cash almost always covers debt that the company has accrued. I had a very interesting conversation with my client while we were looking for houses. She is a first-time home buyer and asked me if I loved my home from the very beginning. I guess I don't believe in "love at first site" (pardon my pun) so I told her, "No, but I will." I have been in my home for a little over a year and have had a few issues that my husband and I have to get fixed. Every home we have owned has always needed some work and we enjoy doing it. I am not one to make resolutions for the New Year. I do like to make goals throughout the year and hopefully reach them. As I look back at 2012 I am happy with where I am at. I spent a lot of quality time with my family, met new friends through my church, and ran a lot while posting some good times. My big accomplishment was starting my real estate career.
