KRZYZ PHOTO has a reputation for great art openings and supporting the Kansas City art community. Recently they hosted “Tipple” featuring the West Bottoms Art Club and it was a terrific success.
KRZYZ PHOTO is Bill Krzyzanowski’s workspace and office for his Commercial Photography Studio at 1800 Locust.
KRZYZ PHOTO was one of the first businesses established in the former automotive district at 18th and Oak. At the time, the area was blighted, rough and there were no artisan’s of any sort in the area. Photograph by James Omara William Whitener has spent the past 17 years as the Artistic Director for the Kansas City Ballet, Whitener succeeded Todd Bolender as artistic director of the company in 1996, following Bolender's 17 - year tenure. He previously served as artistic director of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal. Mr. Whitener began his ballet training as a child in Seattle and received a scholarship to study at the San Francisco Ballet School.
