I am all about equal opportunity but what do you think about a company outside the United States that you can outsource your BPO's to? Let me make it clear I have no problem with outsourcing but it sure concerns me that the downplay or the value of a BPO is cheapen because some bank, broker or agent decides to outsource their data entry or completing the BPO in its entirety.

Yesterday I spoke with an agent out of our area...not new but shy...nothing wrong with being shy but by not speaking up you might be losing thousands of dollars in real estate commissions after all buyers and sellers are looking for leadership, finding solutions and may look to you for advice.

I don't know about you...but I receive emails daily from members on ActiveRain...in many cases these emails are requesting information on how to be a better REALTOR and to be a better social net worker.
Realize you have a huge support system right here on Active rain There are occasions where I may not have the best answer and that's where the valuable members here on the network come in. An agent works with a buyer for days...they get the buyer pre-qualifed for a loan and off they go in the car. What is wrong with this picture?
Why do some real estate agents short change buyers? I say this because we take the time to sit with a seller...we prepare to meet with the seller..we provide a consultation..we have them sign documents before we market their property and then market the property.
Too many times I hear agents who discuss buyer loyalty but when I ask questions this is what I get:

We all seem to have our preferences...I mean I prefer a one stop shop so to speak meaning I am loving Facebook and everything it has to offer.
Now I am not downplaying the value of twitter at all..as a matter of fact...I have had some great conversations...additional traffic and made new friends.
Ever wonder why there are fewer comments on your posts? The comments for posts do not always appear on the post but often times our friends, contacts and new acquaintances contact us on various platforms such as twitter and facebook. Everyone one has their own preference!

Yesterday I encountered a situation...a few of us found offensive..two gentlemen were chatting in another language..they both speak English fluently....someone walked up to them and told them to stop and speak English..they are in America!
What are you kidding me? Why do you care?
They weren't talking to you, it was a conversation between themselves.
Nosey, maybe? Want in on the action?
The way these words were spoken was as if..they were stupid...rude..or in the wrong.

Yes you read right! How do I know? Because I was told...in fact I was told it may take a little longer time to process because of the supervisor's absence!
I guess their very own time lines don't mean squat! Common sense would be to have someone else handle the files until the supervisor returns! And we wonder why some short sale transactions never make it to closing or the process takes so long and it affects many parties.

Do you ever have one of those moments? A rude awaking, a reality check..I have and I can't say that I like it..who likes reality checks right? We need them to grow..to change... and chip away habits..bad habits that can develop quickly right before your eyes.
I admit this winter was harsh on my soul. With a few hard knocks that I had to take...and without a doubt more to come.
