Once you decide to move to West Maui and you are looking for an affordable condo that has at least 2bd, with low maintenance fees, your options are pretty much limited to Napilihau Villages, Napili Villas, the Villas at Kahana Ridge and Opukea, the newest development in Lahaina. Napili Villas was built in 2001 and it differentiates from the other offerings by location, between the highway and the Lower Road, close to Napili Market and only a stroll away on the water. I was supposed to continue with my interpretation of the latest statistic on Maui Real Estate, but this one was too good to pass. I was sitting open house in Napili, yesterday, on the large lanai, completely immersed in my blogging:-)), when I lifted my head and saw this absolutely amazing rainbow.
These pictures are not zoomed in, altered or enhanced in any way. And I dare say that they are not as good as the REAL THING. They say that two people can not see a rainbow the same way. I was soo fortunate to see this … (4 comments)
napili: The most affordable homes on West Maui

Well, for the purpose of this post, I will equate affordable with the lowest priced active listings. Thus, the most affordable home on West Maui is currently listed at $425,000, located in Lahainaluna neighborhood. If you can afford to upgrade though, there are 18 listing priced between $425,000 and $700,000. Most of the homes in this price range have a living area of aproximately 1,200 sf and sit on lost that are not larger than 5,000 sf. A really good buy is this home listed in Napili,for $545,000 and that is the third lowest priced home on West Maui, currently. And … (2 comments)
