The supply and demand for housing in Winchester, Virginia is starting to see signs of balance after a long period of change. The most frequently purchased home in this area of the northern Shenandoah Valley is a three bedroom - 2 bath home. The Winchester / Frederick County inventory of available 3 bedroom / 2 bath houses currently stands at 139 units. Of those 139 units, 74% are fair market properties, 16% are short sales and the final 10% is made up of foreclosures.
