We have hummingbirds - LOTS of hummingbirds!  Conservatively, we estimate that we are feeding about 100 different birds.
 
Sometimes, it's like a fierce air-to-air battle with a dozen or more hummingbirds buzzing around fighting for a space at the "trough".  Although, since we put out 2 feeders, each with 8 feeding holes, I would think there is plenty of room.  But I guess, sometimes, two quarts just doesn't seem like enough for one of those tiny little guys!  :-)

We had a few inches of fresh snow just a few days ago.  The morning brought us clear skies and sunshine, and as I walked around the end of my garage, I was treated to this beautiful sight!
 
This mule deer buck was just meandering along, looking for food (or maybe love - it is the season), and of course my sudden arrival definitely got his attention.  But he didn't run - he just stood there like a majestic statue studying my every move.

One of my favorite places in Colorado is the desert. 
Well, it does have lots of sand but it may not technically be a desert - the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is located near Alamosa, Colorado.  It's a great place to spend time and appeals to many different interests:
