cary nc real estate agent: Why do I need your Referral? I already have a phone book... - 12/04/09 08:11 AM

Seems like a lot of Cold Call Referrals making the rounds lately.
As if local folks can't reach out to local folks.  Au contraire: We have ways.
That's right.  I have a whole stack of phone books.  Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Durham, Garner; I have them all.  If I wanted to call someone with whom you have never spoken; if I wanted to make contact with no information, just a name and a number; if I wanted to make a cold call to someone who is definitely NOT expecting to hear from me....
Well, I have that opportunity already.  … (7 comments)

cary nc real estate agent: Cary NC Real Estate: Local Real Estate Expert located by National Press through ActiveRain! Hi, Mr. Inman!!! - 12/06/07 11:20 AM
I got a call from Glenn Roberts at Inman News today.
Yessireee, he found this humble Cary, NC, real estate agent through ActiveRain.
He found my blog on AR and interviewed me about my opinion of the subprime mortgage bailout. The quotes aren't perfect, but they work for me...
This is the 2nd time in 2007 that blogging, AR blogging to be specific, has given me exposure in arespected national publication.Last spring it was BusinessWeek.com
I think this exposure promotes me as a "Local Expert" in Wake County, North Carolina, better than any self-servingclaim I could concoct for myself. What Fun!!Blog On!!!!!!!!!
And have your talking points ready.
You just might be next!

cary nc real estate agent: Cary NC Real Estate Agent uses Flickr to record Client's new home Construction. Clients love it! - 11/09/07 11:42 AM

Hmmmm....
Flickr!  Oh, for sure!
With my Flickr Pro account, I can post unlimited monthly photos.   And now I have delighted clients who are grateful … (9 comments)
