Enjoy an all-day event to celebrate America’s Independence in Alexander County on Saturday, July 5, 2014! The morning kicks off with the veterans dedicating a new flag pole at the County Administration Building followed by a three-block walking parade for children with their decorated bikes, trikes, strollers or wagons from Community One Bank to Town Park where the vendors and a variety of old fashion games/activities will be located throughout the day.
