commission: Statistics and Pricing

I love to play with numbers. I am no mathematician, but a high school math teacher did finally help relieve me of the pain in a subject I had struggled in my whole life. Statistics are actually interesting! They reveal things about how systems are likely to play out in the real world. Real estate is such a superb industry for data. I think it is one of the most transparent businesses. Through the MLS, I can see exactly what every one of my competitors has sold, can track the prices of any kind of home, even see what compensation is (0 comments)
commission: Getting property Sold in slower markets

When someone has a real need to sell their real estate in a lagging market they are faced with difficult choices. The last thing they want to consider, and rightly so, is a reduction in price. At the time a particular property is bought, the hopes of its new owners call for steady appreciation! The market in coastal Maine has justified this hope, too. A client faced with the need to sell their property under a devised time frame in a slower market will be acutely aware of the difference between hoped for appreciation and a realistic selling point.
