Sure, everyone will try to tell you that you shouldn't put your home up for sale in the winter time. "No one buy's homes in the winter" they might say. Well, let me tell you....they are WRONG! Selling a home in the winter is a great idea. First off, you don't need to tend to the yard as much, to keep it "show ready"! That's a win right there if you ask me! By: Michael Thacker – Louisville Realtor The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors have released their latest year-over-year numbers for real estate sold in the Louisville market, and also real estate listed for sale. They release their year-over-year numbers weekly, and there are of course many variables that can affect them from one year to another. Some of which could be weather, which affects the numbers more so during the coldest and snowiest weeks of winter, and perhaps in some demographic/markets, the hottest of days of summer.
