active rain: Points For a Party? What a Nice Surprise!

Today when I logged in I checked my points area like I always do, just in case there were any reblogs so I could post thank you's if necessary and I got a little surprise! The powers that be at Active Rain had dropped by and left me a little huge bonus for attending one of the meet ups this month. How great is that? A bonus for doing something that I would have done anyway and that I had a blast doing! Thanks so much - just another reason I love to play in the 'Rain!

So yesterday I got to sit down with Lora (Leah) Stern who is my buddy from Raincamp New York City last year who I haven't seen since then so it was loooong overdue. She is the sweetest person and I was so looking forward to getting together. I thought we were going to be catching up and doing computer things but she hijacked me with her camera AND talked me into the Masterminds group so that kept us busy for our visit. I have been extremely busy as of late and I believe there is a direct correlation to my connecting with Active Rain more than a year ago. I was trying to remember how I came to Active Rain and it took me awhile but then I finally remembered that I was in a class with Amy Chorew. She is fabulous by the way and if you ever get a chance to take a class with her don't miss it!
