mothers day: Mother's Day - Do We Really Need a "Day"?

I have been a mom for over 25 years now. Growing up I always looked forward to mother’s day and father’s day – a day when you shower that special parent with love and gifts and let them know they are appreciated. (Even though they always act like they know everything.)
Now as I am watching my own daughter mature and always make me so proud Mother’s Day doesn’t seem to have the same connotation it did when I was a kid. She is good to me all year long and I couldn’t ask for more. So do I really need … (17 comments)
