I don't do this often, but thought it would be a good idea to repost this to my Minneapolis & Saint Paul area blog as well. Getting published and quoted in nationally-recognized real estate or financial publications is a goal that a lot of real estate professionals would like to pursue. There's no manual or instruction book on how to do this, but it is possible to reach a wider audience than you may find by blogging alone. Minneapolis – Saint Paul, Minnesota (September 27, 2012) – Realtor® Eric Kodner has been appointed Vice Chair of the National CRS Diversity Committee by 2013 Council of Residential Specialists President-Elect Ron Canning.

After you've attended a few NAR events, like the Midyear Legislative meetings in Washington, D.C. or the NAR Annual Convention, you learn to plan better and keep things simple. I'm not a fan of extended business trips, but these NAR events are different. Being on the road for a week or so at a time requires bringing on a lot of stuff..laptop or tablet device, suits & ties, dress shirts and so on.
