The MHDC (Missouri Housing Development Commission) has announced a new program to work in conjunction with the Federal First Time Home buyer Tax Credit program. This is exciting news for buyers that want to buy a home and qualify to buy a home but do not have the required 3% down payment and the closing costs.

Today has been a busy day! Busier than most this week. I talked to three people today regarding the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit of $7,500. So when I found this post by Lenn, I knew it was worth passing along.

Since the start of the new Housing Bill is just around the corner - October 1st, 2008 - the buzz has begun. I am now starting to have people ask questions and begin conversations about H.R. 3221 - tax credits for "First Time Home Buyers."
