scottsdale: Beautiful Scottsdale

During the late 1800s, an Army Chaplain Winfield Scott decided to buy a patch of land to grow sweet potatoes. This land would become Scottsdale, Arizona. While those sweet potatoes are long forgotten, Scottsdale has become a trip planners mecca for golfing, sightseeing and just enjoying life. Frank Lloyd Wright was another winter resident of Scottsdale, spending the colder months of 1930s in this dry climate. The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation headquarters are now located here. And, you can take a 90-minute tour of his living quarters and studios.
