NYC Brings Back the Old Lever Voting Machines for today's primary NYC Primary Election September 10, 2013
and candidates with ideas from the past. The city switched to electronic scanners in 2010 but is bringing back the old levers today because of logistics because there most likely will be a run-off election for Mayor. Nostalgia: Bringing back old machines makes sense since the leading candidate wants to bring back NYC to the 1970's. He is running an anti Bloomberg campaign. Of course Bloomberg is not running.
