Mark your calendars for the exciting Bucktown Seafood Festival, held at St. Louis King of France School, 1600 Lake Ave., Metairie, LA 70005. The festival will begin on November 2 and last until November 4. This is the 21st annual fundraiser for St. Louis King of France School, and all proceeds will go to benefit the students. Stop by to enjoy the excellent live entertainment by Contraflow, Johnette Downing, Amanda Shaw and others. Get ready for the fabulous Slidell Street Fair to be held on October 27-28, 2018! The Fair takes place on First, Second and Erlanger Streets and is so popular that it happens twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. People come from all over the state to attend the affair and shoppers fill up the streets. Sponsored by the Slidell Historical Antique Association, the Fair features booths set up to display various artwork such as pottery, jewelry, stained glass and other collectibles, including Saints and LSU merchandise.
