I attended a course for Supervising Real Estate Brokers yesterday with one of the state's top real estate attorneys, Zane Sullivan. We work a lot with local builders and new home construction so I was especially interested in the information he provided on HB 451 that goes into effect on October 1, 2009.
The law was designed to require builders to provide certain disclosures on new homes, and also a written warranty.
Builders are now required to provide the following in writing:

Last year we organized the first Tour Mineral County Home & Business Tour. We had a great response and preparations are well underway for the 2009 Tour.
Tour Mineral County was created to highlight Mineral County's local builders, sub-contractors, and developers. We also include local businesses. It's a great family event and gives attendees the opportunity to see New Homes, Building Trends, and socialize with others on the tour.

Last week, The freezing weather gave way long enough for construction to begin on the model home at RiverRidge in beautiful Superior, Montana!
The model home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom sprawling executive-style home with high-end finishes.
At the same time, ground also broke for an affordable spec home on the adjoining lot.
The Model Home and the spec home are both being built by a local builder LR Signature Homes and will be complete before the County's Tour of Homes which is scheduled for May 15-16, 2009.

Have any of you advertised on http://www.greenhomesforsale.com/ ? I found out about the website in a brief clip on NBC news tonight about green weddings and how green weddings are popular now and then people shop for a green home.
We have a beautiful home listed in Superior, Montana that is a "Green" construction and would like to get additional exposure to attract people interested in this kind of home. We placed an ad on greenhomesforsale.com for 90 days.
