This site lists available rental properties across the state, provides tenant tools, and resources, and assists social welfare agencies in finding housing for people in need.
The site is free to use - both to look for rentals, and for property owners who would like to list their rental properties on the site. You must register first however.

Montana is still a great place to live AND buy and sell real estate. There was an article that just appeared in the Daily Interlake that quotes Paul Polzin, director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the University of Montana.
"As a whole, the Montana economy gains 90 percent of its vigor from sectors that remain strong: nonresident travel, mining, manufacturing, agriculture and the federal government.In a national recession, Polzin said, the nation would suffer worst in four areas.Financial services and durable manufacturing, primarily in the auto industry, don't have much of a presence here. Earlier this week, Jim Cramer was on The Today Show bashing real estate and made irresponsible statements to consumers telling them not to purchase a house right now. Jim Cramer is NOT an expert in the field of real estate, and he is sorely misinformed and did not take into consideration local markets. Two-thirds of metropolitan areas across the country are showing price gains and the national median home price in August showed a modest increase.
