Door County in the Rain.....after weeks of burn-bans and near drought conditions, some fabulous thunderstorms have brought four inches of rain to Sister Bay in the past twelve hours (and even a little bit of localized flooding). This is GREAT news for our summer flowers, cherry and apple crops. The restaurants and shops are full today, but tomorrow people will be golfing and swimming and boating again. Bring them to the 2nd annual Sister Bay Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 7 in Waterfront Park. Little ones (3 & younger start @ 10:30am), pre-k/K after, then 1st-3rd graders, etc - and yes, there will be a hunt for junior high/high schoolers too! This weekend when I'm not working on one of my luxury listings, there is a LOT to do in Door County. We got snow on Wednesday and we're getting more. That might mean ski trails, snowmobiling, sledding, and a lot of other things, but for those of us looking for indoor activities, there are plenty of things to do.
